Dangartal Collection, 2017

workshop

After the group-play-workshop, we created costumes aimed at shooting and a fashion show like a procession. This activity was realized in complying with an artist / the owner of the residence Virendra Sharma.
He has regarded the Indian school system which excludes art classes at elementary and junior high school as a serious problem. Thus he has provided people at any age opportunities to create things through his Paper-Mache workshop for a long time. His residence is also intended to serve as a place to provide them. Through meetings at the residence, I was become sympathetic with his way of thinking, and took an interest in how children's hidden creativity is relieved.
