上田啓太との共同パフォーマンス

ある美容室にて行なったパフォーマンスでは、参加者たちは鏡を通してのみパフォーマンスを鑑賞し、その記録映像と彼らの二次元的な鑑賞体験を近づけることを試みた。
パフォーマンスが特定の時間や空間で鑑賞されることに意味がある場合、パフォーマンスの記録物は「現場を説明する補助的な資料」もしくは「パフォーマンスの性質に干渉しない独立した媒体」である。私はその埋まることがないパフォーマンスと、記録の空間的ないし意味的な隔たりを少なくし、パフォーマンスの一過性を持続させるための記録物を作ることに興味があった。

I did a two-dimensional performance like the same situation where viewers watch its document video by letting them see it only in mirrors at a beauty salon.
If a performance has meaning to be appreciated on site or at a specified time, its document could be only a material which subsidiarily informs us the situation of site, or an individual medium which does not interfere the character of performance. Through this performance I tried to reduce the spatial, temporal gap of viewing between the actual performance and its document video to make a document which could maintain temporariness.
