Off limits vacancy

メキシコの路上には移動式の小さな売店がひしめいて立ち並んでいる。それらは定型の金属フレームを用いて組み上げられ、その規格によって路上の混沌とした商売環境の秩序は保たれているように見える。また、それらは、街を作る様々な建築規格の混在によって生まれた最終的な隙間にも、調和をもたらしているようである。
移動式の売店が集まる場所では、それらがない時に「属性を持つことのない余白」が強く感じられた。そこは標準化されない事物だけが自由に流動し、そこでの出来事や状態は、地域性から導き出される妥当な必然性のようなものを示していた。

Movable stands of overcrowding are often seen on the streets of Mexico City. Most of them are built by use of standardized metal frames, and it seems that their standard gives order to the chaotic business environment. And also they appear to bring harmony to a conclusive vacancy generated by many sorts of architectural standard that composes the city.
At the place where the movable stands crowd, when there was nohting, I felt significant presence as a blank which would never belong to anything. That was where only "irregular things" freely could access to. And happenings or situations there embodied a kind of a reasonable certainty brought by the locality.
