子供の頃、道中で突然石けりが始まったように、遊びは人が何かに触れて起こった現象にともなって発展していくことがある。昔はそうして周りのものとの接点を増やしながら、知らない世界の広がりを観察していたのだと思う。やがて大人になり、昔と比べて知らないものが少なくなった今、辺りの人や見慣れた物に対する見方や力のかけ方を変えれば今度は自身の世界の深まりを実感することがある。
この「プレイジャム」というパフォーマンスのシリーズでは、周囲の環境と自分たちを即興的に関係づけていく（対話のためのルールを探す）遊びを通して、身近な世界の様子を改めて観察した。

 

 

In childhood, games often evolved spontaneously, much like a game of tag starting suddenly along the way. Back then, it felt like we were expanding our understanding of the world by increasing interactions with our surroundings and observing the vastness of the unknown. As we grow older and encounter fewer unknowns compared to the past, changing our perspective and approach towards familiar people and objects can lead to a deeper understanding of our own world.
In the "Play Jam" performance series, we revisited the observation of our immediate environment through improvisational games that spontaneously connected our surroundings with ourselves (while searching for rules for dialogue).
